We are proud of our smartphone policy because:
It is clear and linked to our educational ethos which is that a traditional, academic schooling is at the heart of best practice.
Additional policy features:
- We limit smartphone use during after school clubs,
- We limit smartphone use on school trips,
- We never ask children to use smartphones for lesson related activities or otherwise,
- We actively engage with parents and children to educate on the downside of smartphones,
- We are excellent at implementing our policy
