We are proud of the change that we have made to our phones in school policy for children.

Removing smart phones has had a positive impact on children's well being. Since we have introduced this policy there have been less issues linked to children's use of social media and messaging. This has helped their communication skills because children are communicating face to face more than if they had access to social media. It has improved safety as children are not tempted to use their phones on their way to or from school. It has also ensured equality as all children have to have a 'brick phone' so there is no peer pressure to have a certain make/model of phone.

We are glad that we have made this change to our policy.
