We are proud of our smartphone policy because:
We are incredibly proud of the positive impact our smartphone-free approach has had on our school community. It has helped our children build stronger friendships, engage more fully in their learning, and enjoy being present in the moment, creating a happy, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Additional policy features:
- We limit smartphone use during after school clubs, - We limit smartphone use on school trips, - We never ask children to use smartphones for lesson related activities or otherwise, - We actively engage with parents and children to educate on the downside of smartphones, - We actively minimise the need for smartphones when completing homework, enabling alternatives where possible, - We are excellent at implementing our policy
