We are proud of our smartphone policy because:
Working with our cluster schools, including our local secondary, has strengthened our approach and reduced pressure on children and parents to invest in the first place.
Additional policy features:
- We limit smartphone use on school trips, - We limit smartphone use during after school clubs, - We never ask children to use smartphones for lesson related activities or otherwise, - We actively engage with parents and children to educate on the downside of smartphones, - We actively minimise the need for smartphones when completing homework, enabling alternatives where possible, - We are excellent at implementing our policy
