We are proud of our smartphone policy because:
I’m most proud that our smartphone policy clearly supports a calm, safe and focused learning environment by ensuring pupils do not use smartphones on the school site and must hand them in at the office if brought in for exceptional reasons, with clear expectations for staff, pupils and parents to work together on this approach.
Additional policy features:
- We limit smartphone use during after school clubs,
- We limit smartphone use on school trips,
- We never ask children to use smartphones for lesson related activities or otherwise,
- We are excellent at implementing our policy
