We are proud of our smartphone policy because:
We are proud to be a mobile phone free school and support the national movement towards this aim across all schools. Working in partnership in a supportive and non-judgmental way with our parent community has meant that we have updated our policy and procedures in this area to reflect the best interests of our pupils at all times.
Additional policy features:
- We never ask children to use smartphones for lesson related activities or otherwise,
- We actively engage with parents and children to educate on the downside of smartphones,
- We actively minimise the need for smartphones when completing homework, enabling alternatives where possible,
- We are excellent at implementing our policy
