We are proud of our smartphone policy because:
Dalmain is leading the way as a smartphone free school; having no smartphones on site has led to safety and greater connection between parents, carers and pupils.
Additional policy features:
- We limit smartphone use during after school clubs,
- We actively engage with parents and children to educate on the downside of smartphones,
- We actively minimise the need for smartphones when completing homework, enabling alternatives where possible,
- We are excellent at implementing our policy,
- We never ask children to use smartphones for lesson related activities or otherwise
