We are proud of our smartphone policy because:

We have launched our new Mobile Phone Policy introducing Yondr pouches at Orion Coopers School. All pupils from Year 7-11 lock their phones at the start of school each day and their learning is not impacted by distractions caused by mobile phones. At Orion Coopers, every lesson counts.

Additional policy features:

- We limit smartphone use during after school clubs,

- We limit smartphone use on school trips,

- We never ask children to use smartphones for lesson related activities or otherwise,

- We actively engage with parents and children to educate on the downside of smartphones,

- We are excellent at implementing our policy
