We are proud of our smartphone policy because:
Barrow Hills is a happy 2-13 co-ed school. Our Head has directly supported SFC from its early days. We actively support parents and children and keep them safe.
Additional policy features:
- We are excellent at implementing our policy,
- We actively engage with parents and children to educate on the downside of smartphones,
- We actively minimise the need for smartphones when completing homework, enabling alternatives where possible,
- We limit smartphone use on school trips,
- We never ask children to use smartphones for lesson related activities or otherwise,
- We limit smartphone use during after school clubs
